Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between the T-cell subsets and HBeAg in chronic hepatitis B-virus carrier children. Methods One handred and four chronic hepatitis B-virus carrier children and 32 healthy children were selected, the former were divided into HBeAg(+) group(n=56) or HBeAg(-) group(n=48) according to HBeAg.T-cell subsets in the peripheral blood were measured by APAAP,and HBV-signs were measured by ELISA.Results The mean concentrations of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/ CD8+ of HBV-carrier children were significantly lower than those in control group(P0.01).The level of CD8+ was markedly higher(P0.01).Of them,CD4+,CD4+/ CD8+ of HBeAg(+) group were significantly higher than those of HBeAg(-) group and CD8+ was markedly higher(P0.01).Conclusion There were deficiency of T-cell subsets in HBV-carrier children, this deficiency were more obvious in HBeAg(+) group
