Abstract

The test study on the silt of Xu-Su district in Jiangsu Province has been carried out. The results show that the silt of this area is of weak plasticity, low cohesiveness, high dispersion and low strength. The lime, cement adding lime, and stabilizer SEU-2 have been used to stabilize the silt respectively. The data of unconfined compression strength and dry-shrinkage tests show that the stabilizing effect of the stabilizer SEU-2 is the best one.
