Effects of Different Planting Densities and Fertilizer Rates on Yield of Potato Variety Jizhangshu No.8

In order to explore the best planting density and fertilizer rate for planting potato variety Jizhangshu No.8 in Guizhou province and perfect its integrated support technology for commercial production,the field experiments were conducted to compare the effects of seven different planting densities and five different fertilizer rates on yield and marketable potato rate of Jizhangshu No.8.The results showed that in Guizhou province,when planting density of Jizhangshu No.8 was 54 000~58 500 plants/hm2 and fertilizer rate of compound fertilizer(N:P:K=15:15:15) was 1 500 kg/hm2,the yield and the marketable potato rate reached the highest by 24 895.5 kg/hm2 and 79.87%,respectively.
