Abstract
Lactobacillus were isolated from fermented liquid waste of camellia cake. The standard of the bacteria strains isolated was the amount of lactic acid it could produce and pH it could withstand. One bacteria strain was obtained from fermented waste liquid of Camellia cake.Such bacteria strain was identified as Lactobacillus minor variety, tentatively. The optimum fermentable conditions obtained were: ferment time 48 h,temperature 38 ℃ and inoculation 3% respectively. The amount of lactic acid produced by the test bacteria strain and the concentration of living bacteria in the ferment liquid waste were also tested.Such bacteria strain produced 2.02% lactic acid within 48 h,and the amount of living bacteria reached 1011 cfu/mL at stationary phase. The results show that such superior bacteria strain could be used to produce lactic acid for industry.
