Crazy Architecture——The Negative Unscrambling of the Architectural Thought of Rem Koolhaas

In history Rem Koolhaas who was a builder had inspired new generation of architecture,and did not lead to new architectural reform.He finely became aware of the pulse of the age and had made some accomplishment in architectural career.But,because he did not thoroughly comprehend the essence of architecture,his architectural philosophy ran the into side door,namely,Crazy architecture.He found the uncertain relations of architectural function and architectural form,and successfully created the foundation of architectural philosophy.But the following development of the architectural thought does not approach the essence of architecture,the architectural thought tends to approach the social effect of architectural phenomenon.This paper also analyses the essence and tend of contemporary architecture,thus leading to understanding Rem Koolhaas's thought of architecture,and also is the foundation constructing the future architectural theory,as well as the relevant thought and commentary of the CCTV project of Koolhaas.
