Implication of the Experience of East Asia's Countryside Modernization for New Countryside Construction in Jiangsu Province

The new socialistic countryside construction is a systematic project which has rich contents. As a province with relatively advanced level of industrialization in China, Jiangsu is similar to East Asia in the following aspects: population, natural condition, history of economic development and traditional cultural background. Therefore, this article argues that it is possible to apply successful experience of East Asia’s countryside modernization to exploring approaches to new countryside construction in Jiangsu province.
