Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the status quo and trend of the utilization of antihypertensive agents in our hospital for clinical references of rational administration of antihypertensive agents.METHODS: The utilization of the antihypertensive agents in our hospital from 2008 to 2010 was analyzed statistically in respect of DDDs and consumption sum etc.RESULTS: Both the DDDs and the consumption sum of antihypertensive agents in our hospital increased year by year.Ca2+ channel blockers(CCB),ARB(angiotensin Ⅱ receptor antagonist) and ACEI(angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor) ranked among the top three in terms of consumption sum and DDDs from 2008 to 2010.CONCLUSION: CCB,ARBs and ACEI were predominantly used in our hospital, basically conforming to the current medication principle of antihypertensive drugs.
