Abstract

Control efficacy of chlorantraniliprole 20% SC against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis was verified through an field plot experiment and a demonstration Trial. The results of the experiment and demonstration trial showed that the efficacy of the pesticide was more than 95% on the day 7 after treatment. And the protective effect was more than 90% on the day 20 after application. It is suggested that chlorantraniliprole 20% SC at rate of 10 mL / 667 m2 be recommended to control Cnaphalocrocis medinalis between the peak of egg hatch and young larval period during the rice growth.
