Abstract
The same principle of Chinese classical garden and western modern landscape architecture based on regional feature, is explored in this paper. Then, combining with some splendid landscape examples, the article makes an in-depth analysis in climate, history, culture, society and terrain of the regional features, and provides reference for appraising and designing the excellent landscape architecture of the time.
