Abstract
Objective To analyze the activity of human sperm arosin and the variation of semen-related parameters,and study the effect of sperm acrosin activity on human infertility. Methods The activity of human sperm acrosin,PMN-Elastase,Fructose,α-glucosidase,Zinc,Acid phosphatase and HOS in 214 cases were tested determined.The sperm was analyzed by using WLJY-9000 WeiLi colorful spermic mass device.The normal sperm arosin was taken as control and the sperm arosin of abnormal activity was taken as observation group. Results Out of the 214 sperm samples normal sperm activity was observed in 111 samples and abnormal perm activity was observed in 103 samples.In comparison with the observation group,the parameters of sperm density,motile sperm rate,grade a+b sperm percent and HOS in the control group were superior to the observation one(P0.01).significant difference in PMN-Elastase was also observed(P0.02).The parameters of fructose and α-glucosidase in the observation group were also significant as compared with the control(P0.05) and no significant differences in sperm volume,zinc and acid phosphatase concentrations were observed between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion The activity of sperm arosin is closely related with the sperm components and the variation of the sperm component will reduce the activity of sperm arosin and resulting in infertility in males.
