Abstract

Marine sponge enrich abundant microorganism in interior and on surface because of its unique ingestion and digest system. Sponge-microorganism synthesizes various of new bioactive substances. Sponge-microorganism is important with respect to the development of drugs. The research on bioactive substances of sponge-microorganism in the past ten years including chemical constituent and biological activities was reviewed.
