Abstract
The purification of ammonium molybdates can be improved by ion exchange purifying ammonium molybdate solution.Experimental results indicate that JC-1 chelating resins can remove metal cations in ammonium molybdate solution. After purification, the content of divalent metals is less than 1 mg/kg in ammonium molybdate solution.Meantime, the quality of ammonium tetramolybdate can be improved.Compared with the common ammonium tetramolybdate, there is no change of crystal morphology of ammonium tetramolybdate from purified ammonium molybdate solution.
