Abstract
Under the indoor condition, the degradation of active ingredients in 2 chlorpyrifos emulsifiable concentration(EC) products in water was studied. The results showed that, when the initical concentrations were designed at 100.00 mg/L,10.00 mg/L and 1.00 mg/L,the degradation half lives of the active ingredient from 40% chlorpyrifos EC was 356.50 d,110.47 d and 44.31 d,respectively.Meanwhile, those of 48% Lorsban EC was 328.58 d,297.45 d and 78.69 d,respectively. This indicated that the concentration of active incredient, the type as well as its amount of adjuvants could affect the degradation rates of chlorpyrifos in water. The role of adjuvants in pesticide use and residue control should be considered.
