Abstract
The paper analyzes real-time characteristics of Linux 2.6 kernel and proposes an improvement method of real-time of Linux 2.6 kernel with a high resolution timer and multiple dynamic loadable kernel modules of real-time scheduling algorithm.Experiments prove that the new kernel is more efficient and enhances real-time performance of Linux 2.6 kernel.
