Abstract
Objective To evaluate the impression shoulder continuity of five silicone impression materials. Methods Twenty impressions were made on the same master cast with five silicone impression materials respectively. These models were judged with 4 levels about. shoulder continuity. Rank-sum test was used to compare the measurements among the materials. Results Adding hydrophilic grouping Silicone impression material produced models was equal to tradition hydrophobicity impression material. Shoulder continuity measured on these silicone impression materials produced models were beyond clinical requirement .The difference was not significant(P﹥0.005). Conclusion Five kinds of silicone impression materials are the accurarest is measured on Shoulder continuity.
