Abstract
During the Sixth Plenary Session of the 16th National Communist Party Congress of China in 1938,Mao Zedong called on the whole party to integrate Marxism with traditional culture of China,to achieve concrete style with Chinese characteristics,Chinese atmosphere and style;on the basis of Chinese practical situation to use the position,viewpoint and method of the Marxism to analyze and solve practical problems.In the new historical period,the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China will continue to put Marxism in China on the new agenda.Such proposition with a lot of fruitful outcomes will certainly set off a new upsurge in the academic community,and it will without doubt provide a strong spiritual dynamics and intellectual support to opening up and reform and modernization construction.
