Research on Effective Ways for Strengthening the Ecological Civilization Education in College and University in the New Period

Facing ecological crisis and the escalating environment problem,the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China promoted construction of ecological civilization to the same height as economic,political,cultural,social construction.As the main place of cultivating talents,colleges and universities should play an important role in the construction of ecological civilization.Ecological civilization education in colleges and universities can enhance the students' consciousness of ecological civilization and the environmental protection consciousness,improve people's livelihood and living environment,and promote the transformation of the economic development pattern and social sustainable development as well.The connotation of ecological civilization education of colleges and universities was analyzed,the necessity and urgency of the implementation of ecological civilization education were related,and some effective countermeasures to carry out ecological civilization education in colleges and universities were put forward to improve the literacy of ecological civilization of students.
