Abstract
An overview of arsenic in the Dutch drinking water supply is given.Specifically, the arsenic concentrations in groundwater and drinking water, and the form process and geochemical characteristics of the arsenic in eight selected hydrological systems are addressed. The most probable arsenic mobilizing processes includes adsorption and anion exchange, oxidation of pyrite, reductive dissolution of iron(hydr)oxides, and the reduction of arsenate to arsenite.Treatment cures were given for different situations.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
