The theoretical basis of organosilicon-modified acrylate emulsion was summanzed in this paper. The executed methods, structural characteristics and technical status were introduced. The influences of silicon on organosilicon-modified acrylate emulsion were also discussed. Prospects for the future trend of organosilicon-modified acrylate emulsion were pointed out.
