Abstract
Extracting land use/cover thematic information is always the focus of Remotly Sensed study and application. The land use/cover thematic information of Longhai city is obtained by means of Multi-Stage Classification Approach, and the results of the classification are also verified. Not only the classification's results are improved, and the procedure of implement is effective, but also we have resolved the discrepancy for selecting bands-combination comparing with Single-Stage Classification Approaches.
