Abstract
Objective To investigate the antibiotic resistance on the clinical isolates in 2009.Methods From January 1 to December 31 2009 consecutive and non-repetitive clinical isolates were collected in 9 hospitals from northeast region, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing was carried out.The data were analyzed by WHONET 5.5 software. Results Of the 29570 clinical isolates collected,73.7% were gram-negative bacilli and 26.3% were gram-positive cocci.About 57.8% of Staphylococcus aureus were methicillin-resistant(MRSA),and 72.5% of coagulase negative Staphylococcus isolates were methicillin-resistant(MRSE).No vancomycin, teicoplanin or linezolid resistant isolates were found in Staphylococcu. No linezolid resistant isolate was found Enterococcus faecalis or Enterococcus faecium. The prevalence of extended-spectrum β-lactamases(ESBLs) was 57.6% in E.coli and 46.5% in K.pneumoniae.Imipenem was the most potent antimicrobial agents against Enterobacteriaceae( 95%).More than 70% of P.aeruginosa isolates were susceptible to carbapenems,piperacillin/tazobactam and amikacin, while the rate of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii was 45%.Conclusion Special attention should be paid to the antimicrobial resistance. It is very important to rationally use antimicrobial agents and to take effective measures for the control of the spread of resistant isolates.
