Abstract

Objective To explore the therapeutic and side effects of omeprazole on peptic ulcer for the purpose of clinical drug application.Methods Comparative analyses of the therapeutic and side effects of omeprazole and ranitidine on peptic ulcer were made.Results Better curative effects and less side effects were got with omeprazole than ranitidine(P0.01).Conclusion Omeprazole has proven to be a safe and effective drug in the treatment of peptic ulcer and deserves to be popularized clinically.
