Abstract
Using the data collected from CSSCI(Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index),this study seeks to analyze and evaluate the general situation of Marxism studies in China from various perspectives.The analysis includes the improvement of research strength by examining citation frequencies of thesis papers in this field,extension of disciplinary horizon by investigating the types of citations,absorption of research findings from foreign countries by examining language categories.This paper also shows a survey of various funded thesis papers and other influential academic books and papers.
