Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the relationgship of Hp infection and apoptosis in gastric mucosa through detecting the level of nitric oxide and the apoptotic index of gastric mucosa cell.[Methods]Rapid urease method and PCR method were used to detect the Hp infection in gastric mucosa of 132 cases.Sidney classification were used to make pathology typing.Nitroso disoxidation method was employed to determine the level of NO and using HO fluorochrome stain method to detect apoptosis condition of gastric mucosa.[Results]The level of NO in Hp positive group was higher than that in Hp negative group(P0.01),in Hp positive group, the level of NO was gastric cancer atrophic gastritis superficial gastritis(P0.01).Apoptotic index in positive group was higher than that in Hp negative group(P0.01).In Hp positive group, apoptotic index was atrophic gastritis superficial gastritis(P0.01),but there was no significant difference in gastric cancer and superficial gastriti.[Conclusion ]Infection of Helicobacter pylori has close relationship with lesion precancerous such as atrophic gastritis and intestinal metaplasia.NO induced by Hp may have relationship with gastric cancer,so it is a useful method to prevent gastric cancer through control the level of NO.
