Abstract
A liquid chromatographic/tandem mass spectrometric(LC/MS/MS) multiresidue method for the simultaneous determination of 7 benzimidazoles and metabolites residues in muscle and liver was established in this paper.Benzimidazoles and metabolites were extracted from ti-ssues by ethyl acetate, purified by hexane and waters MCX cartridge. The LC separation was performed on a reversed-phase C18 column using gradient elution. The benzimidazoles and metabolites analytes were detected with a quadrupole mass spectrometer using positive ion electrospray ionisation.MS data acquisition was generally performed in the multiple reaction monitoring(MRM) mode with the mobile phase of water-acetonitrile-formic acid. The limit of detection(LOD) of the method was 2 ng/mL and the limit of quantification(LOQ) was 10 ng/mL.
