Abstract

Objective To study the change and its significance of circulating high sensitive C-reactive protein in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Methods The serum levels of hs-CRP were detected in 31 acute myocardial infarction(AMI),30 unstable angina(UA),30 stable angina(SA) patients and 30 healthy cases. Results The hs-CRP levels of AMI group [((13.17±6.60))mIU/L]and UA group[(8.98±5.16)mIU/L] were significantly higher than those of SA group [(3.03(±1.60))mIU/L] and healthy group [(2.06±(1.63))mIU/L](P0.05),and the hs-CRP level in AMI group was much higher than that of UA group(P0.05),and the hs-CRP levels between SA group and healthy group had no significant difference. In patients with ACS,tie hs-CRP level of three branch vessel disease subgroup was higher than those of two branch vessel disease and single vessel disease subgroup(P0.05).Conclusions The increase of hs-CRP level has some value in the diagnosis of ACS and the differentiation of UA.
