Abstract
The concentrations causing 50% inhibition(IC50) of acetylcholinesterase(AChE) activity by niclosamide derivatives containing polyethylene glycol groups were determined in order to study the effects of niclosamide derivatives on AChE of oncomelania snail in vitro.Test results showed that an increasing drugs concentration would lead to the enhancement of inhibitory effects.With an increasing chain length of polyethylene glycol group linked on niclosamide,the inhibitory effects weakened.
