Abstract
The Zhupi River in Jingmen City of Hubei Province is polluted severely,which influences the urban environment and the water quality in the lower reaches of the Hanjiang River.The water environment improvement effects of ecological water diversion from Zhanghe Reservoir to Zhupi River are studied.We identify 2 main pollutants by single-factor water quality standard,and then study the effect of ecological water diversion with different discharges on water quality of the Zhupi River by 1-D river steady water quality model and uniform mixed water quality model,so as to determine the most reasonable amount of ecological water diversion and pollutant receiving capacity of the Zhupi River under the condition of the most reasonable water diversion amount.
