Abstract

The geologic conditions of tight gas reservoir is mostly complex. The reservoir is buried deeply and has a little pore space under compaction;in addition, the part occupied by fluid is less, which makes it more difficult to identify the tight gas reservoir than conventional gas.Based on the rock physical characteristics and gas reservoir features, the rock physical experiments and parsing technique are used to analyse the core sonics parameter changes of rocks with different lithologies, physical properties and gas bearing conditions, based on which given is a quantitative non-electrical log evaluation method of tight gas sand gas saturation so to comprehensively interpret tight sand reservoir. The real logging data gas tests proved that the above method is good in the identification and evaluation of tight gas sand reservoir.
