Abstract

By perioperatively monitoring patients of cerebral arteriovenous malformation with the transcranial Doppler (TCD) and laser Doppler,we investigate the correlation between the hemodynamic indices of the cerebral arteriovenous malformation and the regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) of AVM patients perioperatively,in order to provide evidence for predicting NPPBS.There is significant difference in the postoperative rCBF between the high flow group and the low blood flow group(P0.05).And there are preoperatively significant differences of blood supply for AVM between the high flow group and the low flow group, and the differences disappear after operation. By monitoring the changes of perioperative TCD hemodynamic indices and regional cerebral blood flows for patients of AVM,we have more far-reaching understanding of the perioperative hemodynamics for AVM and provide the evidence for preventing NPPBs effectively.
