Abstract
This paper analyses the newly issued “The Norms of Professional Ethics of Librarians in China”, on the basis of Ethics theory, and expounds that after the establishment of the professional ethics of librarians, the focus of the construction of library professional ethics is on the development of the consciousness of librarian professional ethics, which guides and dominates all the professional ethical activities.
