Abstract
Objective To investigate the ultrasonography findings of shoulder pain in patients with hemiplegia after stroke. Methods 62 patients with hemiplegia after stroke who were inspected in the Department of Physical Diagnosis of our hospital, according to the state of the patient's condition, were divided into shoulder pain group(n=30) and normal shoulder group(n=32). All patients were checked by color ultrasound diagnostic equipment. Results The rate of lesions of supraspinatus and SA-SD of the patients in the shoulder pain group were 56.67%, 40.00%, respectively, obviously higher than those of the patients in the normal shoulder group 18.75%, 9.36%, respectively. There were statistically significant differences between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion Ultrasonic examination can effectively detect stroke-related tissue damage in patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain, in accordance with the results of which clinical treatment measures can be implemented and rehabilitation program can be modified as soon as possible to avoid further injury.
