Abstract
Objetive To observe the clinical effects of posterior capsulorhexis with anterior vitrectomy(PCCC+AV) for congenital Cataract. Methods 59 eyes of 46 patients had phacoemulsification or lens aspiration and anterior vitrectomy from 2005 to 2008.the Acrysof intraocular lens(IOL) were implanted into all eyes(First or Secondary implantation). Results Two-year follow-up revealed that 4 of 59 eyes had after cataract during from 3 months to 2 years after surgery. The best corrected Visual acuity:3 eyes were under 0.1,10 eyes under from 0.1 to 0.3,26 eyes from 0.4 to 0.5,13 eyes 0.6 to 0.8,7 eyes could not be tested the eyesight. Conclusions The technique of posterior-capsulorhexis and anterior vitrectomy for congenital Cataract can effectively decrease the incidence rate of after cataract.
