Abstract
Based on operation mode and tactical requirement of phased array radar, the study of beam scanning and beam space distribution characteristics is necessary and important to resource scheduling and energy management of phased array radar. This paper analyzes and studies the characteristics of antenna of ground-based phased array radar system, beam scanning space, beam position determination and gain variation with beam space.Simulated pictures embody space scanning characteristics of phased array radar antenna. The study provides an important reference for resource scheduling and energy management of phased array radar.
