Result Analysis of Occupational Health Surveillance in Workers Exposed to Occupational Hazards

[Objective]To carry out the occupational health surveillance among workers exposed to occupational hazards in Bao'an district of Shenzhen city,investigate and analyze the main occupational hazard factors. [Methods]In accordance with the Technical specifications for occupational health surveillance(GBZ 188-2007),the items of occupational health surveillance were selected According to types of occupational hazard factors,and the physical examination was performed among 11 647 workers who were pre-duty,on-duty and post-duty. [Results]The main occupational hazard factors included benzene series,dust,noise,trichloroethylene,n-Hexane,lead,strong acids and strong base.Among 2 126 workers who received pre-duty health examination,the occupational contraindications were detected in 168 workers.Among 9 268 workers who received health examination during their working period,the occupational contraindications were detected in 231 workers,and there were 14 cases of suspected occupational diseases.Among 2 126 workers who received health examination after leaving their positions,there were 6 cases of suspected occupational diseases. [Conclusion]The occupational hazards are still obvious in some enterprises,which have adverse effects on workers' health.The enterprises should take effective measures to prevent occupational diseases.
