Approach of Fluency First and Teaching of English Reading

Abstract

The Approach of Fluency First has been one of the most popular teaching approaches,which focuses on the fluency of reading,writing and speaking and puts the fluency of reading in the first place while teaching.Therefore,in its teaching model the fluency is put ahead of the correctness.The approach can be effective in improving the students’ academic English aptitude for it arouses the students’ interest in studying English and makes them confident in writing.In a word,the Approach of Fluency First is popular with the students.
