The Comprehensive Analysis of Air Pollution in Urumqi

Abstract

By using comprehensive pollution index and Air Pollution Index,An Analysis of air pollution characteristics in recent five years in Urumqi.were made,the results indicated that the annual average concentration of SO_2 and PM_(10) exceeded GradeⅡof Ambient Air Quality Standard.The primary pollutant to Urumqi.city' s air quality was PM_(10)(Particle matter less than 10μm).Second was SO_2.The annual average concentration of NO_2 attained Standard,it has showed an increasing trend on whole in recent years.Air quality during heating period was seriously polluted and it in non- heating period is good.
