Abstract
Peer-to-peer Computing is a new and potential computing form. File sharing is the main application of Peer-to-Peer system (P2P). Most of current P2P systems are applied in small scale network and are inefficient in searching, so a novel approach named CBPeers(Content-Based P2P File Sharing System) is presented in this paper. Although CBPeers is as good as the other Peer-to-Peer networks in searching efficiency, it takes account of the heterogeneousness of the Internet users more sufficiently. Compared with Super-peer network, CBPeers is better in performance and lower in the search load of the network.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
