Ecological-harmonious Society: A New Out-look of Society

The author of this paper suggests a new out-look of society after a careful study of the two basic economicsocial relations: the relation between man and nature and the relation between person and person, and believes that ecological-harmonious society, which is a unity of the ecological harmony and the social harmony, is a society on a higher level. The author thinks that such an ecological-harmonious society is featured by ecological economy, ecological every-day life, ecological politics, ecological society and ecological environment, and then sorts out 12 key factors, which can be classified into 5 groups, to evaluate the ecological-harmonious society. The paper ends with the suggestions of 4 tasks for the building of such a society, that is, urbanization in the social structure, industrialization of the economy, urbanization of rural life, and ecologicalization of the every-day environment.
