Abstract
Mainly with literature method in terms of origin,spread and development of modern sports, the globalization of mass sports, elite sports and sports industry has been discussed, as well as the reasons of sports globalization has been analyzed. Conclusion: At the beginning of sports globalization, sports were mainly spread from developed to developing countries; the new structure of international sports cooperation is the embodiment of modem competitive sports globalization; the modern Olympics is the micro reflection of modern competitive sports globalization; the globalization of sports for all is accelerating under the effect of Olympic sports; sports globalization and sports industry globalization promote each other; the reason for sports globalization is: scientific and technological development, political conflicts and the rapid development in mass media.
