Abstract

The application of radial bogie technology in China's railway is in the experimental stage. This paper describes the function of a radial bogie in reducing the wear of the wheelsets and improving the dynamic performance combined with the practice of DF 4D 7001 locomotive with radial bogies. The radial bogie is also compared with traditional one in this paper.
