Abstract
This paper emphasized electric arc furnace's superiority in energy saving and environmental protection through the comparison between EAF and BOF.At the same time,it introduced domestic and international electric arc furnace's current situation.With the development of social industrialization,steel stockpile will be increased and electric arc furnace technology will be improved.In addition,the government encourages low-carbon economy,so electric arc furnace will get bright prospect.
