Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids and Countermeasure of Postoperative bleading

Objective To evaluate andanalyze the postoperative complications induced from the operative of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH).Methods Analyzing the data of the third or fourth degree hemorrhoids operated by procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids.Results Total 95 patients with third or fourth degree hemorrhoids were operated on by PPH, and the mean operative time was 20 minutes and mean postoperative hospital stay were 2.7 days. Postoperative bleeding was found in 5 cases.4 cases complicating anastomotic stoma bleeding were succeed to tamponed to hemostasis by using double channel ballonet catheter.Conclusion The procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH) was safe, effective and rapid, and using double balloonet channel catheter to tampon the bleeding anastomotic stoma is an appreciable way.
