Abstract

To select urban tree species according to reaction mode of plant upon air pollution is a very important approach and means to reduce air pollutant. By means of the observation of damage symptom of leaves of trees in pollution area, the resistant degree of plant upon combined pollution of sulfur dioxide and lead is estimated, and the resistant grade of plant upon air pollutants according to plant reaction characteristic is determined, and the resistant plant species and seqnsitive monitoring plant species are sereened out.The results show that resistant plants include Fraxinus rhynchophylla, Morus alba, Gleditsia japonica, Prunus davidiana, Phellodendron amurense, Ailanthus altissima,Syringa meyeri, Lonicera japonica, Tamarix chinensis, Sabina chinensis, Lycium chinense, Ligustrum obtusifolium, Robinia pseudoacacia, Alnus tinctoria, Populus ×canadensis, Rosa xantina, Rosa rugosa, Ulmus pumila, Acer ginnala and sensitive monitoring plants include Forsythia suspense, Prunus triloba, Weigela florida,Physocarpus amurensis,Picea koraiensis, Pinus tabulaeformis, Pinus sylvestris, Maackia amurensis.
