The Variants of Du Fu’s Poems and the Internal Quality of Ci Style——Focusing on the Three Poems of "Writing New Sentences While Watching Fallen Flowers before the Boat in Wind and Rain"

The relationship between Du Fu and Ci style was ignored, while Du Fu was living in the glorious and middle period of Tang Dynasty coincided with the critical period of initiation and formation of Ci style. Du Fu's new factors in poems were not only exploring the new way to new poetic style, but also laid an important foundation for the internal quality of Ci style. In the three poems of Writing New Sentences While Watching Fallen Flowers before the Boat in Wind and Rain, the delicate emotions, the slight image and clear language reveals the pattern and meaning of Ci contained in his poems, manifested Du Fu's guidance to the style of poems in middle Tang Dynasty and expediting Ci style, and outlined Du Fu's marks left in history of Ci roughly. It is necessary to re-assess the value and significance of Du Fu, to trace back to the gradual process of retrospective nature of Ci style.
