Abstract
Approximate merging of polynomial Bezier curves has been studied deeply, while rational case is still be dealed with h〈r,p〉 polynomial approximation. But in industry of production, the same important study of merging of a pair of rational Bezier curves is absent. In this paper, an approximation approach is presented for merging two adjacent rational Bezier curves which satisfy a equtation about the weight.
