Abstract
The changes of binding energies for O1s and Ti2p in codoping titanium dioxides were analyzed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The binding energy difference △(O-Ti) was calculated by a set of available experimental data on the binding energies of Ti2p3/2 and O1s core levels and the reasons were summarized. The data presented that the △(O-Ti)was in range of 71.2~71.5 eV,and was larger than that of pure TiO2.The results showed that the visible light photocatalytic performances were enhanced with enhancing of △(O-Ti).
