Abstract
Objectives:To evaluate the safety and effect of early postoperative enteral nutrition support after total gastrectomy. Methods:From Jun 1998 to Jun 1999,thirty patients with gastric cancer received early nutritional support after totalgastrectomy, and the element diet was infused to small intestine through noseenteral tube. The nutrition parameters and the complications were observed. Results:TSF,AMC,TRF,TLC,DCH,and CD4/CD8 were significantly increased after early enteral nutrition. Conclusions:The early enteral nutrition is safe and effective after total gastritecotmy.
