Analyzed the current situation of Tianjn agricultural information and development trend of agricultural information technology in the world.The vital research areas of agro-information technol-ogy in Tianjin are the basic database system,the digital library system,the experts decision-making system,the training system of praction technology by multimedia,the market management information system of farm production,the inspecting and forecastin system of agriculture natural resource,etc.
