Abstract

Simple sequence repeat(SSR) analyses were conducted to assess the genetic diversity of eight Rosa sericea Lindl populations, which showed that relatively abundant genetic diversity existed in Rosa sericea Lindl populations. The percentage of polymorphic loci,Nei's gene diversity(H) and Shannon information index(I) of 80 samples were 69.66 %,0.1425 and 0.2296,respectively.The indexes of genetic diversity showed that the genetic variation within and among eight populations was 44.47 %,55.53 %,respectively. The genetic diversity of Maolin population was the highest, whose polymorphic loci,H value and I value were 25.84 %,0.0879 and 0.1331,respectively.Eight natural populations of Rosa sericea Lindl could be divided into 2 groups by UPGMA cluster analysis. The coefficient of genetic differentiation(Gst) and gene flow(Nm) were 0.5553 and 0.4005,which indicated that the genetic differentiation was relatively evident, with fewness gene flow in Rosa sericea Lindl populations.
